Interesting Facts About Atalie

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?

  • One talent I have that most people don’t know about is that I’m an endorsed motorcycle rider. I began riding motorcycles in college and have enjoyed it ever since. (But don’t worry, I always utilize the proper safety gear!)

What is the most interesting class you have taken in your studies?

  • At Oakland University, one of the perks of participating in the Honors College was the fact that they offered unique general education classes that counted in place of the standard GenEd classes. Two very interesting classes I got to take were American Experimental Film for my Arts general education credit, and History of Meditation for my Science credit.

What’s the strangest thing that happened to you growing up?

  • I’ve been attacked by monkeys before! When I was 2 years old, I somehow tried to climb over the enclosure bars at the zoo in order to feed a banana to the monkeys on the other side. However, I tripped and stumbled in, which led the monkeys to surround me. Luckily my mom was not far at all and was able to fend them off in time.
